The weather has long been a constant source of policy proposals, government spending, fear porn, and human intervention in a desire for power, all of which have influenced politics and religion. Climate scares are not new. Not long ago we were told we would endure an unbearable ice age and risk all life on earth if we didn’t support proposed policies, regulations, and tax increases. Fast forward from global cooling to global warming, to what is now called climate change, and we have another set of messages designed to control. To untangle the confusion, Linda interviews Marc Morano, from the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT) and Climate Depot. They discuss policies, technologies, and solutions that protect the environment, provide bountiful energy, and promote human flourishing and freedom.

Now, many of you were told things as you were growing up. One of the things I was taught never to discuss was religion and the other was politics. Never talk about religion and politics. While I dearly loved my parents and the intention of their statements, as I became a young adult, the two subjects I was driven to discuss the most were, one: my relationship with Jesus, or religion, and two: public policy and political issues affecting our nation and the world. I told my parents I could not stop talking about religion and politics because they were the two subjects that most impacted our lives. I remember saying to them, what do you want me to talk about? The weather? Well, little did I know how much the weather would actually be a topic that is absolutely connected to religion and politics.
The weather has long been a constant source of policy proposals, government spending black holes, fear porn, and human intervention in a desire for power. I'm old enough to live through climate scares because when I was young, we were told that we were all going to endure an unbearable ice age if we didn't adhere to the policy proposals, regulations, and tax increases that would support their claims. We would be risking life on earth as we knew it.
Fast forward from global cooling to global warming to climate change, which has become known to many as climate scam. Another thing my parents taught me is the only thing constant in life other than Jesus, is change. There is nothing more changeable every day than the weather.
So with me to discuss not only changes in weather, but changes in policy proposals is Marc Morano. Marc Morano is the Director of Communications for the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow or CFACT. Marc manages CFACT's award-winning climatedepot.com news and information service.
He is an award-winning producer, writer, and host of CFACT's Climate Hustle feature films. He served as a reporter for Rush Limbaugh, the television show, and a Senior Advisor to the U.S. Senate Environmental and Public Policy Committee. He's an author, a speaker, and is a welcome guest on this podcast. So thank you, Marc, for joining with us today.
Marc Morano: Thank you, Linda. Happy to be here. Appreciate the interview.
Linda J. Hansen: Well, it's great, and I've followed your work for years and just really appreciate the time you're taking to join us. Not only do you discuss the climate and all these weather proposals and things, but you always do it with a smile on your face and you help us see what's really serious and what's not serious.
So we've talked before we were recording about climate change and people's fear porn about climate change. What would you say to someone who is just terrified about the effects of carbon or vehicles or cows on the climate?
Marc Morano: I would tell them that they're being manipulated and this is a psychological operation or PSYOP. It actually goes back thousands of years to human civilization, especially in pagan civilizations.
One of the beliefs has always been, whether you're talking about Native Americans or indigenous people, I should say, we don't want to be politically incorrect. That they believe in rain dances causing rain. The Aztecs thought human slaughter could end droughts. There's always been an element hardwired in us that we're being punished for bad weather, for some bad, even bad fortune.
They've weaponized our natural weather systems throughout. Historically they've made it our fault. They say, it's your fault because you drive that SUV, because you ran your air conditioner or your heater too high in the winter. We now have a hurricane in Florida. We have a tornado in Tornado Alley. We have a drought in drought prone California, etc. and this is where it's deep within us to have these kinds of fears, either retribution or whatever.
But it's not retribution from God. They're saying this is retribution from our sins of living with running water, electricity, food, the basic necessities, and they end up glorifying the past.
What I say about the past is, they glorify this primeval way of subsistence living as though they did it correctly. So given that whole aspect, global warming, there were actually fears of, quote, climatic excess when Abraham Lincoln was president, an academic named George Marsh Perkins, who warned of this in 1864 when Abraham Lincoln was president. And again, this is 1864.
This was the first known climate tipping point I found from my book, Green Fraud. I was able to research that as far back as that. So there's always been that fear that they wanted to manipulate. And who's they?
Well, they are the powers that be, government agents, even big corporations, and of course, the media, especially in our modern day. So moving forward, you have this which really began in earnest in the 1970s with the man-made global cooling scare. Now, it had been around, greenhouse gas theory, but let's start with the 1970s.
This was when they said fossil fuels are creating man-made global cooling and it may cause a new ice age. We literally had Walter Cronkite warning of an ice age. You had Harry, I don't know if it was Harry Reasoner, I believe it was Harry Reasoner or from ABC News, their main correspondent, warning of the man-made coming ice age.
When they believe that our fossil fuels were creating aerosol emissions, which were blocking the sun and making the earth cold. They warned we had a very short time to deal with it, tipping points, just like in global warming. They warned that it was causing bad weather, just like global warming.
Global cooling was causing bad weather. They warned it was a national security threat, just like global warming. They wanted to geo-engineer the climate, just like today. Back then, they wanted to use nuclear energy to keep the Arctic warm. They also wanted to spray black soot all over the ice caps so that they would absorb more sun and melt. They were worried about man-made global cooling.
So flip that, and by the 1980s, they switched to man-made global warming. Then you have the red letter year, 1988, the United Nations starts its climate panel. 1990s, the first UN climate report. 1988 is also the year that a NASA scientist named James Hansen called the alarm on man-made climate change. To make a long story short, this whole agenda of the modern era coincided with the collapse of the Soviet Union. All of these people who are basically godless, international bureaucrats and former Marxists and pro-Soviet apologists, essentially, needed something to move this whole movement into.
They literally, under Gorbachev, Mikhail Gorbachev, started a Green Foundation. They literally started promoting man-made climate change, and the entire agenda that was once supporting the Soviet Union, essentially, started supporting this whole agenda through the United Nations, through sustainable development.
From the 1990s on, we have been subjected to just pure scientific, I won't curse, but I was going to say pure scientific BS from the United Nations, from our National Academy of Sciences, from all of the esteemed science. Now if I had said this 5 years ago or 6 years ago, people would have said, oh, he's against science. Everyone knows what I'm talking about now, post-COVID, they've all been red-pilled.
Our esteemed public health officials, are you against what the CDC says? You better believe we're against it. And that's what that was. I saw what happened in COVID decades earlier by being involved in fighting the climate movement.
It was the same template, ban the dissent, allow scary projections, fund and juice the science, get rid of anyone who doesn't agree with the narrative. I mean, it was incredible. So that's what we've been, I know I gave a really long answer here.
But anyway, to make a long story short, I'll just finish with this. We are, even the Washington Post has now admitted back in September 2024, they had the chart up. We are in one of the coldest periods of the Earth's history, geologically speaking, and we're in one of the lowest CO2 levels.
In other words, 90% of Earth's geologic history has had higher CO2 levels and have been colder. We're in the 10% coldest where we could actually support ice at either pole. There is no climate emergency, the climate crisis of any kind.
The medieval warm period from 900 to 1300 was as warm or warmer than today. The Roman warming period at the time of Jesus Christ's birth around 0 AD was probably much warmer than today. And these are studies that we've seen.
So this is where we are, and they're trying to do this as a means of controlling human populations, every aspect of our life. That's what the global warming movement is.
Everything from wood-fired pizza ovens to gas stoves to banning gas-powered cars to not letting you eat meat, to controlling your thermostat, to limiting your freedom of movement, 15-minute cities, energy rationing, forcing you to eat bugs, forcing you into lab-grown meat that Bill Gates is producing. You're promoting, it's made with a petri dish from stem cells from a cow, sheep, pig, mixed with fetal blood, printed on a 3D printer with all kinds of additives and preservatives and processed to look like it is real meat because it's genetically derived, but it's highly processed meat. You know, that's also given a lot of boosters.
People are worried about cancer acceleration because the meat replicates itself similar to the way cancer cells do. Anyway, long story short, I think the world has been red-pilled on this post-COVID. COVID did us that great service.
The COVID lockdowns were the greatest folly of the deep state that they could ever have done. I wrote a whole book on that called The Great Reset that came out in 2022, and that, I think, from red-pilling RFK Jr. now, who won't even talk about climate change.
He said it's been hijacked for totalitarian control by the World Economic Forum, World Health Organization, and the United Nations. That's progress when you can red-pill him. And not only him, but Jimmy Dore, Russell Brand, Naomi, all these former progressive liberals who COVID opened their eyes, including now, they look at climate change very skeptically.
They sound like a climate skeptic has for years, all these liberals now joining us.
Sorry, that was a tentative answer. My apologies. I don't know what happened.
Linda J. Hansen: That's okay. But that's partly why I brought you on, because you're an expert in this. It rolls off your tongue, right? It's something I'm glad you talk about the weather and not just religion and politics.
But it's great. We can see how these come-
Marc Morano: There is religion all involved in this.
Linda J. Hansen: Oh, it is.
Marc Morano: Climate Hustle with Kevin Sorbo. We did a whole segment just on climate as a religion and the whole thing. But sorry, go ahead.
Linda J. Hansen: Well, no, exactly. That's what I was talking about in my intro is that I grew up being told, don't talk about religion and politics, and then you realize these are the two things that influence everything in life.
So, the weather, right? I'm so glad that you're on, that's such a great story. It's really a climate change hoax 101 for anybody who really hasn't been aware.
But listener, if you are listening to this and you're thinking he's crazy, I would invite you to go to climatedepot.com and get more information. But also just start researching. You will see that what he's telling you is the truth.
It might seem like you're drinking water from a fire hose right now with all that information, especially if this is a new issue to you, if you're listening or watching right now and you're thinking, I don't get this. I don't know what they're talking about, that's crazy. I'm supposed to only drive an electric car and I can't use a gas stove. Well think again, because are you really being told the truth? That's what we want to do is be able to spread the truth and also give information so people can find the truth for themselves. They don't have to just swallow what's being out there.
I'd like to pivot here now and talk about the new administration. I know President Trump realizes that this is just a way of getting control. He realizes that the climate change activists and the whole movement is really not based in science.
He has brought forth several proposals and things that are going to help bring common sense and sanity back to the conversation. So could you touch on a few of those?
Marc Morano: Wow. I don't even know where to begin. I almost feel like we're living in a surreal political world right now. In my lifetime, I'm 56 years old, I was a volunteer of Ronald Reagan's campaign in 1980.
My older brother worked in the campaign. I went to his headquarters. I used to send Ronald Reagan's, he was then Governor Reagan, his reel to reel audio tape to radio stations in Detroit, wherever there was campaigning. Hey, we have Governor Reagan speaking about his latest economic reform. Would you like it? I had to play the tape over these old, old digital analog systems, I believe.
Anyway, I followed closely the Reagan administration. I worked during the Bush and Obama administrations on Capitol Hill. I was in the Senate. My whole life has been politics. I worked for Rush Limbaugh, the television show. I've been a campaign manager. I've also been an investigative reporter.
What I want to say is what Donald Trump 2.0, not first term, first term was very interesting. It was a big yin yang. I think Donald Trump was too green and didn't realize the things he had to do to make his legacy permanent.
The things he had to do to make himself more effective, whatever it is, he figured it out. Maybe getting shot at, threatened with jail, 33 felony convictions, whatever it was, maybe he matured somewhat, but his personality is so complimentary to him now.
So anyway, to make a long story short, what Donald Trump is accomplishing right now, I'll just say this, and I'm not, I would say I'm drinking the Kool-Aid, maybe it's something stronger, but no, actually this is just iced tea. What I was going to say is, he is turning out in just three and a half weeks in office to perhaps be the most consequential president of our lifetimes, at least the last 50 years.
And that includes Reagan, Clinton, Obama. You could go back further. I would say, you know, Obama, Nixon. I'm not sure. I mean, I would say he's FDR levels, FDR, whether you liked what he did or not, was very consequential. So let's go back. That's the kind of presidency.
Why do I say this? Aside from even the climate issue, whether you're talking about transgenderism, critical race theory, censorship, that is probably one of the biggest. Then of course, climate, energy, whatever the issue is, Donald Trump is the voice of the average man, the man who came in against every international organization, all of academia, all of the legacy corporate media, all of most of the billionaire class.
Now he did have some defections in the billionaire class, people like Elon Musk, but generally the billionaires from Soros and Gates and Bezos and Richard Branson, they're all been on the other side of these issues. Donald Trump stood up to everything, the entire military industrial complex, the entire government industry. He's the voice of the people coming in office and actually just boom, boom, boom, boom.
He's doing things 2.0 this time around, second term, that are going to have more permanence. We need the GOP Congress to follow up on this. But that alone, if you compare him to Ronald Reagan, the country wasn't as far gone, as insane, as wacky as it was in 2024 when Donald Trump won, that it was in 1980 when Reagan won.
Donald Trump is dealing with orders of magnitude, serious crazy that Ronald Reagan never even had to deal with. Donald Trump is handling it unbelievably. He's handling the media unbelievably, his administration, his cabinet.
This I think he's going to exceed FDR if he can. You don't know the future. But if he continues at this pace, my greatest fear is that, you know, there's going to be a terror attack or some kind of unexpected military, something that would derail his agenda. I worry about the Middle East, particularly there. I don't know. He's got to be very careful inserting us in too many Middle East. He's got to be very careful because the last thing we need is him to be derailed and we don't need another war. That's the biggest. That's the main thing.
And that's what they're going to, I think if the deep state strikes back, that's what you want to look at as something that just totally reset the agenda and derailed Donald Trump. But right now, the other thing I want to mention, I don't want to do a 10 minute answer, the last thing I want to mention on this, is that it's incredible because the opposition, for whatever reason, seems to be lying flat right now.
You have the Democrat Leadership Council, the vice chair, they're voting for the chairman of the party. They're arguing over the bylaws and our bylaws, one man, one woman. We're going to have a bond binder and they're literally like is this like a spoof? Is this Saturday Night Live? Now it's mentioning Saturday Night Live. You now have comedians doing politically incorrect jokes you have on late night TV comedians. It's unbelievable.
Your pop culture seems to be responding, Hollywood backing away from all the corporations. This is what happens when one man stands up and just says, no, we're going to flip the narrative. We're not even going to pay lip service.
It's not the George W. Bush or the Mitt Romney or John, but we're going to go along, but we're going to nibble at the edge. No, we're going to overturn the whole table. So there you go. That's why I love it.
Linda J. Hansen: It's like Jesus in the temple.
Marc Morano: You know, I might be drinking Kool-Aid here, but I'm just saying it's how I feel at the moment.
Linda J. Hansen: Yeah, it is. But it's also a righteous anger. It's like Jesus in the temple when he overturned the tables. I mean, we have been silenced. We have been controlled. We have the American taxpayer, we can see through DOGE.
The American taxpayer has been ripped off. They have stolen from us. And finally, there's someone finally there is someone who created a way to show the corruption and to show what is actually happening and what needs to happen moving forward.
So you are spot on. It's like that. You were talking about the DNC meetings and things, and I was listening to James Carville. He gave an interview and my favorite line there is, we just can't keep up, the Democrats uust can't keep up. I'm like, well, you know, too bad.
So sad. Anyway, for those of you listening that may think, oh, is this about party? Is this just about that? No, we're talking about freedom versus tyranny. We are talking about freedom versus tyranny.
As I always say, you eventually have to pick. Like when you go to a voting booth, you have to pick. You have to pick a party or a person. But what you're really voting for, whether you realize it or not, are policies and the policies that you're voting for, they may be so entrenched in that person's ideologies or their back pocket.
So we have to think very, very carefully about the policies that will affect our lives. So if you were going to talk to, someone new to the issue and say, what's the most important thing that they can learn about in terms of how they can make sure this climate change ideology does not negatively affect their business and their family or their financial future?
Marc Morano: The number one thing is narrative and the way it's framed. And I'm talking about on any level, and this applies to businessmen. This applies to school boards. This applies to politics. This applies to community. You cannot allow your local board of supervisors, your local city council, your local government, your local, your state government, your local Congress to buy into the cheap rhetoric. Oh, well, climate is of course, a problem, but it's too expensive to fix. No, if something's a problem, Americans have a can-do attitude. You'd fix it. We need people to just challenge the absurdity of all this.
First of all, hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, wildfires, droughts. No trend or declining trends. Even the U.N. admits it. We're not at unprecedented temperatures. We have more polar bears that are disappearing, but they're disappearing only from Al Gore's books and movies as their numbers have increased. The U.S. Geological Survey, they never counted this many.
They're not endangered species. They just drop that issue. Al Gore just ignored the issue when the polar bears resurged. A lot of it has to do with the hunting ban, never had anything to do with climate whatsoever. So anyway, the way to fight this is to make sure that all your levels of government are not doing sustainable development. They're not going along with carbon neutral pledges, net zero.
They're not buying into the agenda 2030, any of this U.N. nonsense. And you need to make sure that you are, and this is where Trump is scrubbing the websites of every federal agency from the USDA to the National Oceanic Atmospheric to the FDA, to the Pentagon. He's scratching all the climate programs and the Department of Transportation has had studies under Obama, Biden, how climate change leads to more fatal car crashes.
I mean, just absolute rot and gut. So my point is, as a businessman, you need to just stand up against all of this, not play along with it. Now, if you want to have environmentally friendly practices, those are completely different than climate.
If you want to advocate, we want to make sure there's more trees. We want to have good forestry practices. That's totally separate. That's where real environment, I've interviewed left wing environmental climate scientists who say that the climate movement has hijacked the environmental movement. In other words, real environmental concerns like East Palestine or lead in the drinking water or toxic waste has been tossed aside. We're worried about a trace essential gas in the atmosphere.
By the way, carbon dioxide, we inhale oxygen, we exhale carbon dioxide. They want to regulate what we exhale. There was a study at the end of 2023 saying that human breath contributes to global warming. They actually said that Africans have less warming breath than Asians and women have more warming agents in their breath than men. Women have more hot air. I won't touch that one. The implication is actually in a peer reviewed study.
Linda J. Hansen: This interview is over. No, I'm just kidding.
Marc Morano: Then there was a study in the UK that wanted to regulate CO2 the same way we do asbestos. So think of that. They want to treat our breath as a toxic substance, essentially regulated as asbestos. This is an anti-human agenda. I think the more people that speak out for it, the opposition collapses. That's what I'm saying.
Look at what's happening with Donald Trump. He is just steamrolling the entire climate agenda. There's no pushback on any of this right now.nNone. And it's almost like the difference between Trump one and Trump two, back when he first was elected, they had just passed the U.N. Paris agreement. Obama had signed it in. There was all this hope and dreams. We now know and Europe knows it. Australia knows that, the entire Western world knows, the U.S., that solar wind is a complete fraud.
They never replaced fossil fuels. They're barely surviving. They're at less than 5% of our energy production with massive subsidies, with bans on their opposition, with all of the incentives.
Same with the EVs. They're maxed out at 7% of sales with massive tax credits, massive subsidies, massive regulatory advantages, and they're banning the gas powered cars at the same time. They can only get 7% and all that. The car companies are like, well, we're done. We can't sell them anymore.
But guess what? They don't want the gas powered car ban. They don't want the EV mandates to go away because they want to keep getting the government gravy. You have foreign companies getting them.
So everything just has to be a house of cards. We all have to just scream at the top of our lungs to collapse it and collapse it for all. It's not going to be able to resurrect it.
Here's what I mean. You can't just resurrect this stuff. Trump is presiding over a cultural shift, and this is important, hippies and the free love in the 1960s. They were taken seriously to a very large extent whether it's Timothy Leary in the LSD and all that.
Fast forward to the 1980s, look at the difference between the 60s, 70s and the shift to the 1980s. Line of jokes, what are you, a hippie? They'd be turned into jokes and they became these sort of grandfatherly, doofus characters, the hippie that and that's what I think critical race, transgenderism, climate cult, it's all going to be looked at as just sort of a comedy, comic relief as we go forward.
That's in large part thanks to Donald Trump presiding over these cultural shifts. It's also a large part of the overreach, whether it's COVID overreach or the critical race overreach, or the transgender overreach, the defund the police overreach, or Black Lives Matter.
All of it was just excesses of the other side but they permanently, I believe, I don't think we're going to have a Hillary Clinton or a Gavin Newsom win in four years. It'd be hard to believe unless they stole the election, of course, but hard to believe they would come in and reverse it like what happened after Donald Trump's first term, which by the way, I had to throw this in.
If you look at those numbers of presidential elections, somehow Joe Biden by far exceeded any other president in 2020, complete, I think vindication that was the most fraudulent election in our United States history. And I'm not even talking about voting machines. I'm just talking about the COVID requirements that allowed people to just mail in and give all these ballots. You had cities and places where you had 90% turnout, unprecedented. They were just packing the polls anyway. Sorry about that. But go ahead.
Linda J. Hansen: Yeah, no, that's OK.
Marc Morano: It's all part of it.
Linda J. Hansen: It is and I love the phrase that you said. It's an anti-human agenda. I think that this is something, when you start going down the rabbit hole of how all these things connect. I call it a spider web too, it's like you start following all of the little money connections and the organizational connections and everything from the border to trafficking, to climate change, to every regulation that we've ever had to deal with practically. It's all so connected.
I love it that you brought up the business, because one of the things I focus on is talking to business leaders and especially helping them educate their employees about why all of these issues are so important. And you brought up local control and local issues. It's really good for business owners, for managers, to talk to your employees and tell them you need to be engaged about this. You need to understand.
When somebody comes along and says, how come you're not doing this green energy thing? Maybe there's some information that they can provide to them that says, here's the science about it. I know when we got out of the Paris Climate Treaty, the world went crazy.
All the environmentalists were saying we would die because he pulled out, well, our carbon emissions actually went down while China's went up. It didn't change what was happening in terms of things. We are still a leader in responsible policies for the environment, but it's insane.
It's so brainwashing. What would you say to employers who need to help their employees understand these issues?
Marc Morano: It's not probably worth getting into a scientific debate on climate change, but here's what you could say. If we actually face a climate crisis, climate emergency, let's concede that.
The last thing you would want to do is go along with carbon taxes, UN climate treaties, cap and trade, meat bans, travel restrictions, regulatory controls on every aspect of your life, which is what they proposed. That's what net zero is. It's Soviet style controls.
Even the UN architects and the people who pushed net zero admit, even if every country complied fully and went along with their agenda, it would not even make a negligible difference in CO2 emissions, let alone, theoretically, the climate. In other words, if we actually faced a climate emergency and we had to rely on the UN and the Green New Deal to save us, we'd all be doomed. That's the thing.
You have to look at this from a businessman cost benefit analysis. We can do all of this nonsense and it would have no impact on global emissions. In fact, the US, Canada, the Western world restricting our emissions means one thing, that the developing world will fill the void of all that energy and they have lower technological standards, lower in many cases like China and in Middle Eastern countries, lower human rights records in Venezuela than the United States, and you end up with higher emissions.
The West restricting itself on energy means higher emissions, exactly what the people claim they fear. If we faced a climate crisis, what you'd want to do is wealth, prosperity, innovation, technology. You alluded to it when Donald Trump pulled us out of the UN Paris Agreement.
We were in the height of the fracking revolution, technological revolution, horizontal fracking, where you can get natural gas by drilling down and then drilling sideways and spraying water in it, extracting gas that wasn't even usable reserves before. We led the world. As the rest of the world shamed us, well, you pulled out, you don't care about climate.
We were leading the world in reducing carbon dioxide emissions because of our wealth, technology, and prosperity, and innovation, and that would be the solution. The last thing you'd want to do is hand the keys of civilization over to the former head of the Socialist International, not making this up, Antonio Gutiérrez of the UN Secretary General, who's pushing this net zero scam on the world. That's the last thing you'd want to do, and that's the first thing anyone concerned about climate change thinks we need to do.
No, you don't give the car keys to the Socialist International guy at the UN who wants to impose that globally to deal with climate change. If we actually faced a problem, you'd want to unleash technology, and that's the bottom line. I'll give you an example.
It was 1890s, they had futurists predicting that the horse manure problem of New York City and other major cities was going to be so bad that by 1930, you'd have horse manure three stories high in cities, creating massive public health, smell, and disgusting infrastructure problems. What happened? Innovation.
They invented the internal combustion engine, and the engine, which is now vilified and they want to ban, cleaned up the world and all our cities because we've relied less on manure and more on gas-powered vehicles, and the horse manure problem never materialized. That's exactly how you got to look at the future. You got to look at the future with hope, promise, and our God-given ability to innovate.
You don't look at it as a zero-sum game where we need international bureaucrats that control every aspect and keep us in line or else we're all going to die. It's frightening stuff, and that becomes a spiritual battle in the end because if you truly believe that mankind, if left without the control of government, is going to annihilate itself, no, we need a spiritual revelation. We need to turn to God.
We need to turn to belief in ourselves and our capacity, not the idea that we need to be restricted by these, essentially, bureaucrats who needed a new path after the fall of the Soviet Union and Eastern Block.
Linda J. Hansen: I really love it that you brought up the need for a spiritual revival. I talk about that, almost every episode because we're not just fighting freedom and tyranny in the human sense. We are fighting in the spiritual realm. This is a battle of good and evil, and so, yes, we should talk about the weather. We should talk about the weather.
We should talk about religion and politics and how all of this connects, and business leaders should talk to their employees and parents should talk to their children. We pray that things can start to change to be more truthful in the schools. There are just a couple of things that I just wanted to touch on before we have to close.
One, you mentioned different clean energy sources and things, and I would just like to give a shout out to nuclear. I've done some consulting with eGeneration Foundation in the past where we were promoting molten salt reactors, small modular reactors, and the use of new energy resources like thorium. Not really new, but not as well known, and other things.
There's a lot of ways we can have really reliable energy and not have to fall prey to the line that we need, solar and wind, which is not reliable at all. Also, I'd like to just encourage people, contact your elected officials at local, state, and national levels and tell them that you want sensible policies here, and you want things that affect our health. Before we were recording, we were talking about Robert F. Kennedy Jr. becoming secretary of HHS now, and talking about the different ways that that can be helpful, and chemtrails.
People often say, oh, there's no chemtrails, that's a conspiracy, but then if you look up in the sky, you can see them all over. Again, that's just a simple thing. Contact your elected officials and tell them you don't want that, and you don't want the government doing any kind of weather modification.
You don't want the government interfering, and then you certainly don't want the government controlling your life, making you live in a 15-minute city, and controlling the amount of carbon you exhale.
Marc Morano: All true. We are in a situation now where, first of all, if there's a weather modification, Joe Biden had said, we don't control the weather yet. China has its own weather modification requirement, Russia has its own weather modification. They brag that they can control snowstorms, rainstorms, at least at the regional level. About a dozen states do cloud seeding programs right now in the Western world.
Bill Gates is funding research at Harvard University to block the sun, and even the scientists taking the money are like, this is radical and risky, but hey, they're doing it as part PSYOP as well. They're saying they know this is going to be risky and dangerous if we would only just go along with the Green New Deal and net zero and submit and give up our gas-powered cars and control of our thermostat and give up meat. It's almost like this is a bully tactic.
Where we face right now is this is beyond our borders in terms of this whole climate and energy agenda. Europe is rejecting it, particularly since the Soviet invasion of Ukraine. The European nations went into an energy crisis and they had given away all, they had basically banned all their domestic energy and were relying on Russia, then the Nord Stream Pipeline blew up, and then you had such a mess there.
Now, they're going back to coal. They're going back to natural gas. They're going whatever they can, they're going pro-pipeline, they're going to be buying natural gas from the US.
Brazil realizes, Argentina, I was in Baku, Azerbaijan, 23 hours of travel, direct, nonstop from Washington, DC, where I flew out of Virginia, and for the UN COP 29 Climate Summit in November of 2024, a few months ago. I witnessed firsthand the French foreign delegation, the environmental minister, not showing up. This was the week after Donald Trump's election.
Argentina delegation, after talking with Donald Trump, the president, Melu, they pulled the entire delegation out of Baku. The opening session had the head of it from Azerbaijan, the country that's next to Russia and borders Iran and Russia, say that oil was a gift of God. Heads exploded at the UN. There's a whole talk now, infighting happened. No major Western leader other than the UK leader showed up. This is the end, potentially, of this 40-year scam we've been involved in.
Donald Trump can help push that on an international level. Let's hope we can just keep this momentum going. Again, free speech, I didn't get a chance to really talk about that, but that is one of the most important. I love JD Vance's speech in Europe, chastising Europe for all of their censorship. It's just beyond belief, the stories you hear about how insane the censorship is. You like a post on Facebook, you can get visited by the police.
Linda J. Hansen: Well, free speech is so important. We just thank you so much for your work and how you are so able, you are so able to explain all these things in just language that anyone can understand. We know that we are entering into a new era. This is a really great time in America.
For those of us who've been in the battle for freedom for decades, like me, it's just so exciting to see. It's exciting to see that this hoax, before it was, we were going to freeze to death and we're going to burn up and the ozone layer was destroyed. All this stuff now, it's really becoming clear that all of this is really meant to control.
And so thank you so much. So to all your listeners, I want you to make sure you go to climatedepot.com and follow Marc there, but also just keep learning, pay attention to what is coming out of the White House, pay attention. And when you don't agree, when you think, oh no, that doesn't go with the narrative that I've been hearing, do a little more research and employers, please educate your employees because you're running businesses and you know how regulations and all of this affect your business and your ability to innovate and provide new solutions to problems like Marc mentioned before.
So please, everybody, do your duty as a citizen, inform yourself, be active. And as he mentioned and I mentioned, we're in a spiritual battle. So don't forget to pray about this, too, and seek the Lord's wisdom.
Do you have any other closing comments, Marc?
Marc Morano: No, I would just say cherish this time, first of all, because this is a unique time in American history where the forces of freedom seem to be steamrolling. Now, again, there's always dark clouds ahead, but actually I just want to say, take a moment to enjoy this because it's the only time in your life you may be able to turn on the TV and enjoy watching the news, enjoy watching coverage of Capitol Hill. Don't let this slip away and just thank God and ask this and go into battle again. You're fighting culture. You're fighting manipulated science. You're fighting censorship. You're fighting propaganda on a daily basis. And you've just got to call a spade a spade. That's the bottom line. That's where I think we win this. And that's where I think the whole entire Republican Party went bad originally. And it started under the Bush’s, George H.W. Bush.
He's the one that got us into this whole summit. So that's where it begins. You cannot pay lip service to something, you know, as a fraud. That's what Republicans before Donald Trump did repeatedly on climate. George H.W. Bush signing the Rio Earth Summit, which gave us the U.N. climate summits. George W. Bush totally promoting the U.N. climate summits and never challenging the U.N. climate claims.
Mitt Romney, Republican nominee, was probably to the left of Obama. He had a lot of Obama's team on it. John McCain had it. What I'm trying to say is all of those Republicans bought into this knowing it was a fraud, but they did it because they wanted to be in polite society and to support the Uni-party in Washington. You no longer need to support the Uni-party. You know, in fact, forget polite society. The impolite are where you want to be at this point. And that's my closing remark there. But thank you so much, Linda.
Linda J. Hansen: That's great. I would say, too, we can't take it for granted. These things are like the past. I hate to, I don't want to say that people are roaches. But I think of when you're in a roach infested area or something and you turn the light on and the roaches all scatter, you don't see them. Right. Same with mice. You don't see them. Doesn't mean they're not there. It doesn't mean they're not reproducing in the darkest corners that you cannot see. And that is actually what is happening now.
Just because we turn on the news and see some victories and we see freedom winning right now, it does not mean that these forces are not there. So we must not be complacent and we must continue to educate people so that they know we can change laws, we can change regulations. But unless we change the hearts and minds of people, we will end up right back where we were.
So thank you. And if people want to get a hold of you other than going to ClimateDepot.com, how should they follow you?
Marc Morano: On Twitter. I'm @ClimateDepot on Twitter/X. And that's actually where I put a lot of fun stuff on there as well.
Linda J. Hansen: OK, well, that would be great. So just follow him. And thank you, Marc. We appreciate this. It's gone a little overtime, but it's been a great conversation. Thank you so much.
