When we hear the word justice, we often think of the words fair, honest, impartial, legal, appropriate, equal, or righteous. Our Constitution guarantees justice to our citizens, but is justice truly being administered in our legal system today? Many would say it is not, as they have dealt with oppression and unwarranted or unfair arrests and prosecutions for legally gathering in support of issues they feel are important. While some groups and people were condoned and even supported as they burned cities, threatened citizens, and damaged property, others who were peaceful and patriotic found themselves targets of over-zealous law enforcement and judicial activists. What does this mean for you, the average citizen or business owner? Is there a fair justice system in America today?  If not, what can we do to support those who are caught in the crosshairs of political lawfare and how can we protect and promote equal justice for all? Listen as Linda interviews three people who have been greatly impacted by unfair legal practices and who are working to help all victims of injustice, and then consider what you can do to promote true justice in America today.

We need your financial support to keep producing the podcast and to create new resources, so please consider becoming a Prosperity partner or sponsor today. Again, thank you for listening. This episode is a little different in format than usual because I recorded it after a spontaneous meeting with three people who are all impacted by the two-tier justice system we have in America today. I was recently in Washington, D. C. And met the guests in this episode while on Capitol Hill. Once I heard their stories, I knew I wanted to record an interview with them. It was all pretty spontaneous with a little traffic and wind noise as a result, but I hope you will listen and be open to helping them and others who have suffered as a result of political opposition lawfare. What has happened to so many people who attended the events on January 6, 2021, has not often been told truthfully in the news. This is my attempt to shine a little bit of light on the horrendous misuse of power and unconstitutional practices of many in our government. In this episode, you will hear the impromptu on-the-street interview with three people whose lives have been impacted by a justice system that has been hijacked to punish many who are innocent and to reward many who are guilty. If you are unsure of what your opinion is of the events of January 6, 2021, I invite you to simply listen to this episode and then do some further study. You can find more in-depth information at Revolver News or by following Declassified with Julie Kelly on substack. Both sources are in-depth truthful sources for information. Their research is relentless, and you will learn some behind-the-scenes stories that the mainstream media will never tell you. You may wonder what this has to do with a business-related podcast, but every political issue affects your business and your life. If we do not have honest scales of justice in America, you can be sure that it is only a matter of time before you feel the pain too. No one is exempt from tyranny or dishonest leaders. I hope this interview will pique your interest so you will search out truth. Thanks again for listening. And now we'll just start right in on the interviews.

Linda J. Hansen: Just say your name and kind of your story and how you got involved with this issue.

Juan Kwan: Hi, my name is Juan Kwan. I'm here with Eric Clark this week. We have been supporting J six defendants for the past two and a half years. And we do everything that is required to bring justice for them. The initial thing that is needed, of course, is prayer. We strongly believe that our Lord has a plan for us and it's a plan for victory. A plan to bring the gospel to the rest of the world. And we wonder if the adversity that we are experiencing is a part of that plan, and in what way. We know that intuitively that anything that befalls us that is a difficulty, god would use it to build us up, to give us a reserve, to train us for what lies ahead. We believe that because more difficult times lie ahead. God is preparing men and women right now who is willing to walk, who is willing to stretch, who is willing to care for their neighbors, to simply reach out and do what he commands. Love your neighbor as yourself. And part of that is to see that they get justice. We started with the prisoner's record. Since then, other groups have come alongside. Others have advocated for different things. There are the Patriot Mail project that we've come to know as part of this. They specialize in sending mail into prison. So immediately, instead of duplicating something that someone has already started with, we immediately point people to those that have a good idea to love their neighbors. And we immediately connect families to a Patriot Mail Project and they send mail into prison. They send mail to families, families that need to be protected with their address. They are the intermediary that then can send anonymously. People can send in without knowing the family's address and know that it will be delivered. And the same thing will happen for the family to return mail to the people who write them. So it makes a connection then.

We needed to find a way to support prisoners, those who were incarcerated now for 1000 days, nearly 1000 days, without the ability to go to trial. Some have now just have gotten bonds and find out that they won't be able to get bonds. But we needed to make that connection to them. So we find ways for people in social media to connect and to be informed, to have a way of navigating through the maze of what is our prison system. It is very cumbersome, very difficult. But also, once you make that connection, it means giving hope. It means sending the support in a way that it cannot be done in any other way unless you make a connection. You write the letters, you receive the calls or the text messages thereafter. And it brings hope. It is an encouragement, and it is a way where we love our neighbors in an intentional way. And no matter how long this takes, it will allow us to travel together as long as God puts us together. This journey should end and will end injustice being served if we stay the course. Americans are generally very good people, and it is my hope that more of them would wake up. A large number of us have we've gathered around these families. We sent in donations when they need help financially, in spiritual ways, in emotional support. There's nothing that we won't do to bring the help that is needed, and we remain flexible. We are in a kind of an asymmetrical war. Spiritually. They are on the dwarf side. We're on the victorious side, on the judicial front, on the legal front, on the legislative front. We need all of these to be activated for everyone to join arms and to bring the help that is needed to bring justice, not only for J six defendants, but those who are similarly persecuted, falsely charged, overcharged, wrongly persecuted, and politically oppressed. These are right now our political prisoners because they have an ideology that does not fit this administration. And they will lock them up, and they have they will falsely prosecute them. They will weave a political narrative in order to get a conviction. And innocent people are being sent to prison right now under false charges and under manufactured evidence.

So on behalf of those who are seeking justice, we would want America to join us in the few groups that are standing up and making the connections, sending help, tangible, intangible ways in donating, in walking alongside families emotionally. Prayerfully in being there physically for them and making that connection so that the defendants would know that the rest of America is connected to them. They are not alone in this fight. There is backup. They are not the first wave to challenge a stolen election and to challenge the corruption within government that is persecuting them unfairly. And if we can do a number of very fundamental things to bring justice, number one, hold the court to account. Ask Congress to hold them to account. That is their duty. And number two, help us in finding exculpatory evidence. And number three, have Congress open that up for us because the judiciary branch will not give us the Brady material that they're required to give under law. The prosecution will not do it. The judicial will not do it. We're asking congress to hold them responsible for that lawlessness under the Brady Act and for violating the constitutional right of defendants. And then we would ask congress to monitor themselves to make sure that they're under the Constitution in administering their part of justice, balancing out the government so that through that balancing, the j six defendants would have these culpatory materials that they're due, and finally the justice that is served when they can prove they're innocent. Because we do not have a judicial system that when you go in, you're presumed innocent, and then they have to convict you. We have a justice system right now. You are guilty, and you have to fight with everything that you've got, with every support from every corner. And there is so few in government that we have. We're asking people to stand up and help us to get the exculpatory evidence by releasing the video footages and all of the evidence pertaining to January 6, so that there is transparency. With transparency, those that are guilty need to pay a price. I would expect, after we know the truth, it will not be these January 6 defendants that will be going to prison. They will be exonerated. That is my confidence. That is what I'm beginning to see from the little bit of evidence they allow to leak out. It tells a different narrative. I challenge the American people to seek out the truth and to find the right narrative that is the truth, so that justice may be served.

Linda J. Hansen: That is beautiful and so worthwhile. Thank you for working towards that. And I know before this you were working on election integrity issues, so you're well aware of the things that did happen in the 2020 and subsequent elections that had election fraud. And so you've been a patriot fighting for truth and freedom. And so if people want to help your organization or help with these projects, where should they go?

Juan Kwan: If you'd like to connect with us, we're strictly on telegram at this point. If you'd like to go to the prisoners record, it's the prisoners record. That is a Telegram link, and it's a public link. You can come in there and connect with our community. Within that community, there are also several other groups worth getting to know, and originally they came into Telegram and is a part of just patriots who love each other and care for each other. And I'll introduce you to all of the folks on Telegram. And since then, we branched out to Twitter. I'm not on Twitter at this moment very much. I'm starting to get back into it a little bit.

Linda J. Hansen: But are you on getter and truth?

Juan Kwan: No, I'm not on there at the moment. One social media is about all I can handle, but I promise that we will branch out a little bit more just so that people can find the help. And as I mentioned, I do work with other groups. And at this moment for the legal funding and the legal research, typically what we have done in the past is to get the individual gifts and goals of people, individual families, so that funds directly go to them. What we have found is that while some can make good use of the funds, there is a certain inefficiency and deception within the legal ranks where the funds have not gone to help, but it's gone into the pockets of lawyers who do not give the defense that is required of them. And we don't have the recourse because defendants are at a loss in the legal system. Some of them have never been in trouble before. This is the first time and it's not even their fault. But then, because of the seriousness of the charge, some are facing 8100 years. You'll talk to a couple, to Mary Sturgeon and also to Eric Clark. Eric will be facing three years maximum sequentially for four misdemeanors. I would akin that to Jaywalking and for Mary Sturgeon. Her son was just sentenced to six years. And the legal defense for Eric and he can tell you is very spotty, very inefficient and very unproductive because he has yet to go through the discovery that he knows is there and that will exonerate him. And the things that are there is rigged against him because it's circumstantial, it is suggestive, but it should fall short of reliable evidence that is above reasonable doubt to convict someone. So he has to go to court proving his innocence instead of them proving that he's guilty of something.

Linda J. Hansen: Well, this is so true of so many of the J Six prisoners and people involved. And I know we're doing this interview in September of 2023, and they're still newly arresting people from this. They're going after anybody that seemed to be anywhere near, and it's just horrendous. So I want to move on to the other two here, but could you spell your first and last name so people know how to reach you on that telegram channel?

Juan Kwan: My name is Juan Kwan and the channel is a public channel. So just go to one word, t me, the prisonershord, all one word. And also the legal fund that I would advocate for, for people to get in touch with is the J Six Truth. And you can find that J Sixtruth.com or and also the legal fund coming from that is J Sixlegal.org. You can use that to find us and to get help. And we'll get you connected once you drop into any one of those places of contact. And we have managed to raise significant funds for people that need help. And we have a large community that are grassroots people that care for each other, that are not working for each other per se, but are working for each other in the sense that we'll do whatever it takes. We're not on the payroll, but we'll connect you to the various organizations that are giving help. And we'll also help you to raise funds individually, but get calibrated so that the funds will be used for attorneys that can truly help you. And there's so few if you're new to this, go to J Six Legal, go to J Sixtruth.org and also go to the Telegram channel and find us. There's also one more site that I need to give. And perhaps if you remember nothing else that you remember, sponsor J Six. Here's something that you can tangibly help to send commissaries into prisons. And if you start there as a launching point to start getting to know the prisoners, the families, the lives, and then we want you to join us in doing much more, for there's much work that is needed to bring justice.

Linda J. Hansen: Well, and thank you so much. And this is not just about justice for these people. This is about saving our country. This is about saving the justice system in America. It's about ending this two tier justice system. So before we run out of time, Eric, tell me just briefly your story. You were at January 6. Yes, ma'am. And you just came because you loved President Trump, right?

Juan Kwan: Absolutely.

Eric Clark: God had put it on my heart to be there. God had helped me get sober from a 25-year addiction of meth and heroin. And I was three years sober. And I was very thankful that our president had provided an economy where I could go from an addict into the middle class in a very short period of time. So I came to our nation's capitol on January 6. I remained completely peaceful, completely prayerful. I walked into our nation's capitol through open doors. Like so many that day, very few actually committed any acts of violence, and I don't condone that. I think that those few should be punished, but punished fairly, punished fairly, and should have the same opportunity to defend themselves as anyone would be expected to have the certain rights to discovery. And a lawyer that's willing to defend you is an American, right? It's something that we all should have. The presumption of innocence is an American value that we should all cherish, and we see that quickly fading in this country.

Linda J. Hansen: Well, that faded for you because the FBI actually broke down your door and pointed guns at your family members, and you basically committed no crimes. But tell us what happened. So you were there January 6 of 2021, and when were they at your door?

Eric Clark: So the FBI had showed up at my door on March 6 of 2021, approximately four months after the Breonna Taylor Act had been instituted into law banning no knock warrants in our state. That did not stop the federal government from battering my door open without even knocking when I was aware that they would be coming. So I'd left it unlocked. They pointed their rifles at myself, my son, his wife, and my one year old granddaughter, locked them in a room for approximately 2 hours while they ransacked my house and carted me off to a local jail.

Linda J. Hansen: That's just horrendous and so traumatic for your family as well. But your story mirrors that of so many in that it was just a raid in the middle of the night, family members were traumatized. I mean, it's really lawfare that they're using against political opponents here. And you actually are now defending yourself because you were not finding help with the public defenders or anything, so you are defending yourself. So I imagine what he spoke of in terms of the fundraising and things that could help you as correct.

Eric Clark: Absolutely. Actually, this group that Juan Kwan has been describing, so I have been pretty much bankrupted by this political persecution, and he has been gracious enough to help make sure that I do not end up back in homelessness and a pattern of addiction that could result from such behavior, from such attacks. He's traveled from Arizona all the way to my home state of Kentucky to bring me into Washington DC. After two and a half years of fighting in court for such a simple right as access to the footage of myself on that day. Right. It's taken two and a half years of court battles, firing two public defenders and learning to represent myself in a court system, in a federal court system that it's very difficult to navigate. Finally, after two and a half years, I've been able to gain a very minimal access to what amounts to 40,000 hours of CCTV footage. By the time my time here in DC. Is over with, I'll have had approximately 40 hours to go through 40,000 hours of CCTV footage to try to spot myself and build a case and pull out the exculpatory evidence that cooperates. What it is that I say happened?

Linda J. Hansen: Well, I know that the listeners, I'm sure, will be praying for you. And so if they want to support you or learn more about your case because we obviously can't go into all of this, how would they reach out to you?

Eric Clark: So I do have a Gibson go set up. Just go into Gibson Go and type the name Eric Clark Ericlark, and it'll come up. I've done a few other little small interviews, and I give a nice story on there of what happened that day, what I experienced. Those are also included in the interviews. But if you really want to help, I think a good organization would be the https://www.j6truth.org/. I know from firsthand experience that they do their best to help all involved, all that comes to them, get the support they need. They're completely transparent and keep none for themselves.

Linda J. Hansen: Well, that's perfect. So thank you. And now I'm going to move to the mother of a J Six prisoner. And we just randomly met. I'm in Washington, DC. And I was visiting congressional elected representatives on Capitol Hill and I happened to meet these three people in the hallway. We began talking, and as I have watched the J Six drama unfold ever since January 20 of 2021, I have just prayed so much for the families, thinking of the parents, the spouses, the children of these families who are unjustly persecuted. And like Eric said, and we all agree that anybody who's guilty of a crime should pay the price and should be punished for a crime. But there's many, many innocent people who are suffering. And there's also people who, even if there was a small misdemeanor or something, they're facing years and years and years in prison, oftentimes without any trial or any way to have justice. So could you state your name and tell us your son's story? Yes.

Mary Sturgeon: My name is Mary Sturgeon and my son is Isaac Sturgeon. He is 35 years old. He loves to travel, which he's not allowed to do anymore. They took his passport. He is an entrepreneur. He runs his own landscaping business in Montana. He did lose about half of his business when this all came out, but in March, I believe it was March eighth of 2021, he was arrested, and thankfully he only spent, I think, one or two nights in jail. And that is a whole another story in itself. I think that they set $100,000 bond and we were able to get friends and family on a conference call with that judge within hours, and they all posted their home and their property.

Linda J. Hansen: Oh, that's amazing. So my question though, and I'm sure the listeners are wondering, so he came on January 6 and where was he? What did he do on January 6?

Mary Sturgeon: All right, so he was actually in Florida, vacationing and spur of the moment, heard about the Trump rally and thought, how cool that is. Awesome. So he flew up to DC. And after the rally, he came by himself. He walked among the crowd over toward the Capitol building, and he was walking down a sidewalk. From what I could see on the body cam, he was a little bit ahead of the group had thinned out in that area, and he was walking more by himself with a few other people around. And he got to the top of some steps on a landing and there was a barricade, and the police were there. So he figured he'd just stand there and chat with them and tell them how much he appreciates them. And pretty soon the crowd started building, and some of the people in the crowd and some of them were probably undercover or confidential human sources, there were agitators in the crowd, and they were getting pretty rowdy, and he still stood there quietly with his hands in his pockets.

But long story short, the barricade ended up pushing the crowd. The police pushed the barricade down on the crowd, pushed them down the steps, and he got caught underneath it. And when it was all done. Then he stood up and kind of put his hands up in the air like, I'm not trying to do anything here. And then he left that area, and then he hung around and took some pictures, still on the grounds. But then he went home. He didn't go in the building, he didn't scream. He just was there. And when they arrested him, they charged him with several I think it was several misdemeanors, but then later they upped that to three felonies, four misdemeanors. And in May he went to trial and the judge took multiple catnaps from what I could observe throughout the trial. And that kind of told me the tone of what was about to happen. And in this case, he has a public defender who really does seem to care, even I don't know if their beliefs are the same as ours, but they care. They cared so much that they came out to Montana to visit us and talk to friends and family to be used possibly as witnesses. But on that day in May, it was a bench trial. He knew that a jury trial would be totally biased and he just thought, perhaps bench trial, maybe that would be better. But we are learning that doesn't make a whole lot of difference.

Linda J. Hansen: He was just sentenced, is that correct?

Mary Sturgeon: Yes. So he was found guilty on all seven counts in May. And last night we went to his sentencing and they had, I think, on Friday they decided to up it from three to five years. The prosecution asked the government wanted eleven years. And that's just outrageous. He's a businessman.

Linda J. Hansen: Does he have a family?

Mary Sturgeon: He has one young daughter and she's in another country, so he has not gotten to see her yet.

Linda J. Hansen: Oh, that's horrible. It is. So when exactly was he arrested and how did they arrest him?

Mary Sturgeon: All right. Oh, and by the way, his sentencing ended up being six years. That was just last night. He was actually overseas in Kenya. He has friends over there and he likes to go hunting over there. And the Kenyan authorities came and told him to come with them. And they searched his room and took him to, I think, Nairobi, which was several hours away, and then told him that he needed to be deported because of what the FBI was telling them. And they were very good to him and they even observed him and didn't understand what the problem was. But he went of his own accord, flew back to America, knowing that when he hit JFK, he would be arrested. And that's what happened.

Linda J. Hansen: Oh, that had to be just scary for him, heartbreaking for you and your whole family. So again, if they want to help your family, if they want to help your son, listeners want to they go to this website, is that correct? Or do you have another site you want to send people to?

Mary Sturgeon: Yes, Mr. Juan will take care of that. And I am in the process of setting up a give. Send go. I'm trying to be careful until after the sentencing. I don't want complications. But, yes, you can go to those other websites.

Linda J. Hansen: Okay, well, I just want to say thank you to all three of you for sharing your story. And for those of you listening, if you don't believe that this is a problem, the media has downplayed all of this. And it seems like if anybody ever talks about the January 6 prisoners or that Trump was innocent or some of the people at the Capitol were innocent, it's like you must be wearing a tin hat. You must be a horrible terrorist or something, and it's just not true. Yes, there were some people that did things that weren't right on January 6, and there were thousands, thousands, thousands, thousands who did everything right and were there for all the right reasons. And so many of those people are suffering because they don't hold the views that are wanted by this administration and by our federal government at this time in history. So, like we said at the beginning, this is something that I believe, too, that God has a plan for America. God has a plan for each person. We don't know why suffering comes, but I do know when I saw what happened on January 6 and what's been happening with our nation since, I tell people it's a lot like removing a cancerous tumor. One of the things that has happened is the corruption in government has become much more apparent to those who want to see it. If you want to see it, you will find it if you just start looking and you'll begin to understand what we're talking about. And you can't heal anything until you know what the disease is. So we are going after the cause of the disease, and we want to have America back to a nation that respects our Constitution, respects people's rights, has people innocent until proven guilty, and they have the right to defend themselves, and they're not imprisoned without a fair trial. All these things that are important that we take for granted in America. But unfortunately, there's so many prisoners who've not been able to enjoy that privilege or that constitutional right. So we pray for them, we hope them, and we ask that you visit that website. Once again, we'll give you the website.

Juan Kwan: J6legal.org for legal funds and https://www.j6truth.org/, and also on social media, the prisoner's record all in one word, the prisoner's record on Telegram.

Linda J. Hansen: Okay, well, thank you all, and we just may God bless and heal America.
